Color Tone Adjustments in the BW layer- The Lost Photoshop Tool

Found this article on the web.  Even though you may have changed your color image to black and white, you can still make adjustments to the color tones.  This can dramatically change the tonal range in your black and white picture without you having to adjust contrast, curves, hue/sat, etc.  I am also guilty of ignoring these tools.  I have only used them when editing Infrared images. Next time try that before you start adding a whole bunch of layers trying to get the tonal range acceptable.  It will save you some time.
